The following are some of the new commercial projects announced in Commerce City:
Dion’s Restaurant opened its second Denver metro location at E. 104th Avenue and Chambers Road in early 2017. The New Mexico-based chain serves made-to-order pizza, salads and subs for sit-down or take-out dining.
Commerce City staff works diligently with site selectors and business representatives to provide concierge-level services throughout the site selection and site development process. These efforts have contributed to businesses opening ahead of schedule, surpassing performance projections and enjoying sustained success in Commerce City.

Two 7-Eleven locations opened in Commerce City in 2016. The first was at 104th and Highway 2 and the second at E. 96th Avenue and Yosemite Street in Marty Farms. The stores will serve a growing number of businesses and residents in the northern range.
Cosmo’s Dog Biscuit Bakery is coming to Turnberry Marketplace at E. 104th Avenue and CO Hwy 2. Cosmo’s specializes in wholesome and healthy treats for dogs. It also offers a large selection of pet products including food, toys, collars and leashes, beds, and accessories.
iGo Realty opened a new office at 13611 E. 104th Ave., Suite 700. With over 20 years of experience in residential brokerage, Arlene Castro and Jean Broad recruited three residential real estate brokers to be part of the new office.
Kentucky Fried Chicken
KFC will open a 3,125 square-foot restaurant in Reunion Marketplace at E. 104th Avenue and Chambers Road.
Los Tamales Mexican Grill
Los Tamales is open in the King Soopers Shopping Center at E. 60th Avenue and Parkway Blvd. The restaurant serves a variety of tamales, as well as burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and tacos.
Mail Xpress opened a full service resource for packing, shipping, printing, and business service needs at 13611 E. 104th Ave., Ste. 800.
Mark Sink Photography
Mark Sink, a notable local photographer and private art consultant, is moving his studio to the Derby neighborhood. Mr. Sink purchased the 2,500-square-foot former Toedtli Auto Parts store at 6525 E. 72nd Pl. and plans to turn it into studio and exhibition space.
Pets R Us Animal Hospital
Pets R Us is an experienced pet hospital offering a full array of pet services from immunization and wellness care to boarding and grooming. The hospital has opened its second location at 10290 Idalia Street in Commerce City.
Pour Tap House will be built in Turnberry Marketplace at E. 104th Avenue and Revere Street. The first of its kind in the city, the 2,000 square-foot tap house will serve craft beers from around Colorado and will be located in a new 9,000-square-foot building.
Royal Nepal Restaurant
A new restaurant has opened in the North Range Town Center at 15550 E. 103rd Place, #112. The restaurant serves Indian, Nepali, and Tibetan cuisine. These cuisines use spices like turmeric, cumin, and coriander in flavorful dishes of lamb, chicken, and fish.
Papa John’s Pizza
Papa John’s Pizza is coming to Belle Creek. The business has claimed the last remaining 1,236-square-foot spot in the Belle Creek Corner Shops, and plans to open in June, 2017.
Sonic Drive-In opened 1,526 square-foot restaurants at 10319 Tower Road on the southwest corner of E. 104th Avenue and Tower Road in the Reunion Town Center Development.
Taco River opened its first brick-and-mortar location. The owners own and operate two food trucks as well as prepare, distribute and market Mexican fast food by retail or wholesale. The company employs four people at its new location.
Tradicion Bar and Grill
New restaurant will open soon at 8383 Rosemary Street. The restaurant will be located on the site formerly occupied by Gala Garden Restaurant and will serve Mexican and American food.
